If you're looking to thump the bass as loud as possible and don't care about anything else, there are $30 headphones that can do that for you. If you're seeking a balanced, more nuanced sound, this is a headphone set you need to consider.Construction - The crown series stands out here. There's always some added quality risk you take with smaller boutique brands, but the quality of the construction here was clear upon opening the box. Firm but incredibly light polycarbonate and what feels like acetate base. I did have an issue with the cord - in which the gold-plated plug had come loose, but I got a quick response with customer service and all I had to do was send them a picture of the cord to get it replaced, for free without hassle. Nice added bonus.And it's not just the construction, but the combination of thoughtful detailing that allows the CS to stand out. Detachable cord, volume detailing, natural ear piece toggling for a perfect fit, and the subtle but very well done color scheme detailing that contrasts the eye-catching but not brash elephant print - which I think really benefits from the mellow and tasteful gray-black colorway.Style - As covered in construction, the style is what I'd call "tasteful loud". It's eye-catching,and has personality all on its own, and they attract but don't scream for attention when you have them on.Price - Worth the price and likely a great value in the headphone market right now. There are other sets similar in style in and above this price range, but the combination of sound, construction, and style should have these high on your list if they're in your price range.

These headphones are amazing. The design is very creative and stylish, but more importantly the sound quality is what makes buying this pair of headphones worth every penny. Used these headphones on a recent vacation to London and the noise cancelling was amazing in the busiest, loudest areas of the city. I'd recommend these to anyone and it would make a great, affordable Christmas gift!

Purchased the true blues as I was heading overseas for some travel. They sound was fantastic, the headphones did great to cancel out the noise on the planes, and I got many compliments about how stylish they looked.

Sound quality on these headphones is amazing. Also, they are very comfortable. Well worth the money. I will definitely purchase another one.
