Temple of The Jaguar 1000-Piece Puzzle

This is an astonishingly beautiful puzzle and a great challenge as well. Many of the pieces only abutt each other and cannot be “locked” in place until perhaps four or five (or more) surrounding pieces are in place. One slight brush against any of these pieces will have you going back and pulling scattered pieces back in place, hopefully. Do you remember your piano teacher telling you to keep your wrists up? It’s just like that. A few of the pieces are too small with the smallest piece known to mankind roughly measuring in at 3/8” X 1/4”. The animal shapes were great and provided their own twist to the puzzle and yes, I wracked my brain trying to fit them in too. Happy? :o) Don’t get me wrong, I did complete the puzzle but it might have taken just an eensy-weensy bit more time to do so, but I don’t quite recall off-hand. I found it a great way to unwind from the day and that is worth its weight in gold.Summing it up:The puzzle is gorgeous with high-quality precision-cut pieces, but,some of the pieces are too small.It is a bit of a challenge, but,take this challenge and with your wrists up, conquer!Wear short-sleeves shirts, or less if you prefer. I'm just saying.Seriously, this is a great puzzle with unique pieces; shape and size-wise. Give it a shot if you are looking for a challenge, you most likely will not be disappointed, I loved it and thoroughly enjoyed it's challenges.

So what's with the weird pieces that don't interlock? Some were as small as my pinkie nail. This was a moderately difficult puzzle and a cool picture, and the special shapes were fun. But it's hard to highly recommend it when the pieces are so loose that I had to constantly press back into shape.

This puzzle was hard but visually worth it. I enjoyed seeing the picture come together and the novelty shapes were fun to find and use.

This puzzle was fun to do. The whimsical pieces are unique. It makes the puzzle harder to do. If you are up to a challenge then this is the puzzle for you. Take the challenge, you will not be disappointed.

It was a fun puzzle but I don't like that some of the pieces don't actually interlock together. Like A LOT of pieces are just flat-sided so you don't even know if it is an end piece or not. Also, my puzzle was missing 3 pieces. Nothing is more irritating than getting to an end of a puzzle and realizing you'll never complete it.

This puzzle is beautiful. The whimsical pieces made this puzzle very challenging and fun. I framed it and gave it to my niece as a gift. She loved it!!

Very difficult puzzle. Not for beginners. Bought for my son who is a seasoned jigsaw puzzler. This was more challenging than either ne of us cared to try. It's sitting in the closet.

I love this puzzle brand. The puzzles fit together with precision, the colors are beautiful.
