When I got it, I initially thought it wouldn’t be enough. I saw how people had said it didn’t apply well and another said to add water. I used a cotton ball slightly wet and twisted it in the paint. It applied BEAUTIFULLY. I was amazed. Truly. Because I went yellow I did need 2 coats but because this little jar goes so far with little effort I feel like my jar is still full. So this product is financially worth it off the bat. It dried really quickly but didn’t get heavy or cake or crack. It also stayed put despite my costume occasionally rubbing. No yellow fingers from accidentally touching my face. It was wonderful. When it came time to remove it, it came right off in the shower with my regular face wash and shampoo for the hairline, with NO left over faint yellow stain on my face. Anytime I need face/body paint in the future this is the line I will stick with!

When used as directed (with water), this works great! It took a few tries to get the water to makeup ratio right and I applied it with a foam makeup wedge. The makeup dries quickly, doesn’t feel tacky or sticky, and I was able to put other makeup over it without compromising the original makeup. It lasted all night (approximately 4-5 hours each night) and did not smudge. Removal at the end of the night was simple with no skin irritation. The first night I used soap and warm water, the second night I used makeup wipes. Both times, the makeup came off effortlessly and did not stain the skin. The reason I only gave 4 stars is because it did take a couple 2-3 coats to get even coverage.

Better than oil paint because it didn’t smudge or transfer (setted with translucent powder) but it was difficult for me to build up. It cracked around my smile lines and was a bit blotchy. I used water to activate to get the best pay off. Once it dried and I went back in with another layer, the wet consistency would wipe off the already dried layer so I ended up with good and bad patches EVERYWHERE. I tried fingers, sponges (art and makeup), but found that a dense makeup brush worked best. Side note - eyeshadow sits well on top but could blend the paint away if you’re too heavy handed. All in all, it took me two hours to do face, neck & arms WITH help.

This was a little difficult to use but the color was perfect.

I used this for a costume and it was ok, good value but it went on kind of weird and I when I tried to apply more for greater coverage it kind of streaked away what was underneath. But it was ok for my costume.

I thought this was a cream makeup but I had to add water to it. It was a dried cake powder. It was quite tedious doing it this way as I was painting my entire face for Halloween. Also, painting over a layer would remove the layer that was already put on.

we used it for our Halloween costumes.. Great colors (we went as MI football fans) yellow and blue.Nice consistency but you need q-tips to put it on. that is best when writing something. Colors were nice and bright and washed easily and completely. veery happy with it. little expensive b ut otherwise was very happy.

Shows a very enlarged picture of the product…be sure you get the size you really want. This one is extremely tiny. Good for accent colours; not good for painting the whole face/body.

Its chalky, difficult to apply, not full coverage and cracks after about 5 minutes of wear .One of the worst products I have bought on amazon.. like shockingly bad.
