I'm very happy with it
Day one with guitar: Classic and flawless look. Very lightweight. Effortless neck playability. Clear and articulate resonance. Came with roundwound D'Adarrio strings, not Cleartone, but no biggy. I'll be replacing with flatwound 12s anyway. I'm very happy with it. Will update review after I plug into my JC120 with how the pups sound.

eastman review
Absolutely perfect fit and finish, the gloss, the binding, action is very goodnot as good as a Gibson but better than many of the Epiphones i triedi upgraded to a seymour duncan jazz pickup and flat wounds, great warm soundonly downside is the neck is not bound, but for a few hundred more,a bound neck is available on a different modelgreat guitar for an intermediate jazz player at a great value Eastman AR371CE Full Hollowbody Archtop Single Cutaway Sunburst Guitar w/ Single Humbucker & Case

Love my Eastman AR371CE
I bought my Eastman used and could not have been happier. This was my first archtop and have always been a solid body player. The neck is wider (not thicker, but wider) so it makes for playing complex jazz chord a bit easier (in my opinion). The finish is perfect and the sound of the guitar (without an amp) is wonderful. It is a full sound compared to (for example) the Epiphone Emporer II Joe Pass model, which is a bit thin. The action is adjustable so if you are not happy with it, it can be adjusted. Mine was used and came to me all set up so i am really happy. My dad has the gibson ES 175D and he was very impressed with the Eastman. In his opinion, the eastman is a very worthy guitar for the money.Overall, i recommend an Eastman guitar and since i own this one, i recommend the AR371CE.Practice, practice, practice!

Unbelievable quality!
This is my third jazz box (Samick JZ4, Gibson Tal Farlow Model), and it puts to shame my previous two. From the moment I picked it up, my fingers and ears fell in love with it. It's so easy to play. I am not an accomplished jazz musician by any means, but this guitar has incredibly increased my chances of becoming one. Very strong acoustically, and is "mellow boss" plugged in. I ran to the bank to get the funds for this one, and I haven't had a moment of regret or buyers remorse. At three or four times the price of this instrument, you won't find anything better. My Gibson cost 5k, and it doesn't play or sound any better than this. This Chinese guitar has certainly come of age.

Better than the Gibson ES-175
Better than the Gibson ES-175. Best bang for your buck. The pickups are really warm, and the bridge is floating which I like.
