Yuk-2e Non-Toxic Gel for Wounds or Lesions

This stuff is amazing! My Boxer wouldn’t leave her incision alone. She destroyed multiple cones and putting her in a T-shirt wasn’t make much of a difference. I put this around her incision and she never touched it again.

I originally bought this product to help my puppy stop licking on my cat's neck. She would lick on one specific spot to the point he started loosing hair! I bought this and was super disappointed in the results. My puppy actually took it off my night stand in the middle of the night and ripped the tube apart to eat the substance inside........ pretty effective... not. Won't buy again and don't suggest it unless you like wasting money!

I hoped this would work so my cat can get out of the cone collar the Vet gave her, which she hates. This product, though recommended by the Vet, did not prevent my cat from licking her cat bite wounds. She seemed more determined; my sense was that the gel actually stimulated the area around the wound, perhaps making it burn (no, I didn't apply it over the wound directly). I had her in a cone collar while I applied the gel and even while in the collar she started obsessively licking, and when the collar was removed she went right for the wound and didn't even seem to notice the gel. Back to the cone collar.

Being such a hipper dog it takes a while for her to realize that it really doesn't itch. After her mind realizes this she does fine. Putting it on when she is playing keeps her mind on playing with a ball.

I wish it was stronger otherwise its 80%My pooch wears it out...How can he like this Yuk?lol

My dog stoped licking her legs after I put a little amount. People have to use gloves because is strong for humans too

Was really hoping this would work for my English Bulldog who constantly lick and chews on his toes and the bottom of his feet. When I put it on his tongue he ran and hated it. Didn't phase him one bit when it was on his feet. So back to wearing socks.

First thing is how small the product is. I didn't pay attention to how small .5 oz is. There isn't much in that tube. Secondly tried it on both a dog and cat and doesn't seem to work on either. The vet recommended it so I'm guessing it works on some animals, just not mine. It doesn't stay a gel or greasy but dries out in a day and gets crumbly.
