ALL THE STARS……JUST WOW!!!
My home is an older, 2 story brick house. The second story is often several degrees warmer and uncomfortable for sleeping due to the warm air rising throughout the day, even when using the air conditioner. I purchased 4 of these fans. I use one on the lower level, and put the other three in upstairs bedrooms. They work great to pull the cool air into/ blow the warm air out of the house! I start by turning them on early in the morning to pull in that crisp morning air. Depending on the temperature, I will close the windows midday to trap the comfortable air into the house, then flip the blades on the second story in the evening to blow out the warm air that has raised from below before switching them back to bring in the cool evening air. Our second story is staying amazingly cool!I’m in Missouri, and would have normally had my air conditioning running for over a month by now. After experiencing very high utility bills last summer, I wanted to take the chance on trying something different. I am SO pleased and beyond impressed! We’ve not hit the height of summer heat, and at some point we will need to cave and turn it on, but these fans are definitely helping me save money big time as we hold out as long as we can. Definitely worth it!

Fan works great
Not too loud. Basically gives white noise for sleeping. Cools very and the only thing odd I find with it is the thermostat which is the opposite of the previous unit I had for years. It's kind of opposite of his you would expect to adjust the cutoff temp. Otherwise, it works great.

A great and powerful fan at a great price, but one warning:
The media could not be loaded. If you’re looking for a powerful window fan to cool your spaces, increase ventilation in a fraft room, or just help with airflow in a stale part of your house or camper, you’ve found it. The built-in thermostat is a surprisingly brilliant idea for a fan, and the adjustable directional flow is a must-have, genuinely. That being said, the “QC PASS” sticker made me laugh, because within the first 5 minutes of running, the fan started rattling and something fell off of it. When I looked in the cage, I saw it was a nut, but I couldn’t see where it came from. Luckily, I don’t like to return things and I DO like to work on broken or faulty electronics in my spare time, so all I had to do was crack it open (this WILL void your warranty and any return options you have, so if this happens to you, bear that in mind before you go opening it up. Like I said, I don’t like going through the hassle of returning items, and prefer to just fix them myself. If you’re not like that, also consider that before buying this, as it seems this is a common occurrence with this fan.)I will say, though, I got this fan on the 2nd and it’s been running without that nut for 27 days and only just started rattling enough for me to bother opening it to finally fix it.Which is pretty impressive. To my relief, the nut is one that secures the fan to its motor and is immediately visible once you remove the back cage. The fan is constructed in a way where the bolt is D-shaped, so even without that nut holding the fan to the motor, it was still able to operate. So, great design, props to the engineers! If I had any thread lock, I’d be putting a drop on it just to make sure it doesnt fall off again (how did that even happen in the first place if it went through Quality Control!) But for now, I’ll just be screwing it back on and closing it up, and putting it back in my window. Now as for its actual function:The fan pushes air incredibly well. Anyone who says it doesn’t either got a faulty one, or had both fans blowing the same direction. I have found that you’ll get the best performance from it if you have one fan set to intake, and one fan set to exhaust. Not only will it run quieter because the motors don’t have to struggle against air pressure, but it’ll move air a lot better, helping to cool your room that much faster instead of just mixing up the hot air already in the room.I’m one of the freaks who have to have a fan on me at all times, and my room as cold as a meat freezer in order to sleep well. I overheat easily and will wake up sweating if the temperature is even in the high 60s. So when it got cold enough that my window-mounted air conditioner stopped kicking cold and I kept waking up overheating, I knew it was time to finally just get a fan. I opted for the digital version over the mechanical version, specifically for its thermostat. I have a conure who shares my room, and I have to be conscious that while I’m trying to keep my room cold enough for me to be comfortable, I’m not making it so cold that she will fall sick. It’s easier to control the temperature when the fan kicks on and shuts off automatically, and I am happy to say, it functions brilliantly. The fan has been running 24/7 since I got it, even with one fan hanging on for dear life. Despite the outside temperature being below freezing (29°F/-1°C currently) it accurately detects when my room is too warm for the setting I have it on, and will kick on and run until it’s adequately cold enough, and shut back off. This means that despite two monitors, a beefy gaming PC pumping out heat while running graphics-intensive games, and a vent run behind a thin wall next to my bird’s cage carrying hot air throughout the house and indirectly heating my room in the process (I should also mention, my room is, at best, 8ftx8ft. My pc is set up in the closet just to make enough room to get to my bed, it gets HOT in here!) this little fan is able to not only keep my room cool and air circulating properly, but it’s able to do what my air conditioner couldn’t: detect when my room is above temp and knock it right back down without delay.I will have to set up the air conditioner again in the summer just because of my heat intolerance, but I have full faith this would have zero issue helping to keep the air a little more bearable in those hot summer months. It would also be a great choice for an art or craft studio where smelly chemicals are being used and you need some extra ventilation. Obviously in that case, you should invest in a proper fume extractor system, but if you need a quick and inexpensive solution to throw in the window, this is a really good choice. Its noise isn’t any worse tgan a box fan; my microphone doesn’t even pick it up with the way I have my noise settings, so if noise is a concern for a voice chat, work call, or recording scenario, you should have no issue blocking it out with basic noise suppression settings, or cleaning it up without destroying the clarity of your voice in a recording software. My PC fans are only a little quieter than these fans, which is a praise to these fans because I specifically chose quiet fans on my PC and the only thing you can hear is the air flowing.Which is a long way of saying, you won’t hear any high-pitched whirring or an uncomfortable low thrumming from these fans like you would some other fans. Also, the remote works perfectly. I really only use it for when I’m in bed and forgot to change the temperature setting, because the fan is close enough to my desk that I can just lean over and press the button to change it on the fan itself, but that little added convenience is worth the extra few bucks for this version over the mechanical one.Overall, this is a great fan that does its job and does it well, without complaint or hiccup. Apart from that nut falling off almost immediately, I have had no further issues and it’s an easy enough fix that I really can’t knock it too hard. I did knock a star for it only because if it had been properly checked in QC, that nut wouldn’t have fallen off in the first place. But for $30-$40 and the features you get, you will be hard-pressed to find a better fan at the same price point. So, absolutely, I recommend this fan. I would get another one in a heartbeat if I had a need for two. We’ll see how it stands up over the winter, but so far it has been a great purchase and I have 0 regrets buying it. Just the instant relief when I turned it on and felt the cold air flowing through my room was worth the money, and it’s been doing that every day for 27 days now.The cage is easy to remove, too, so if you’re worried about needing to repair it, it’s genuinely not that difficult, especially if your issue is the same as mine. Cage off, nut on, cage on, good to go.Also don’t judge my setup, my window is impossibly small and this was the smallest fan I could find. A little packing tape and strategic foam and we’re good to go! That’s a fault of the house (200 years old) not of the fan itself.TL;DR: If you’re on a budget and need a good fan, definitely consider this one. Just be aware that it doesn’t seem to be uncommon for a nut to fall off, but it’s a really easy fix if you feel comfortable voiding your warranty to repair it.

Good window fan for the price
A great window fan we have two. It does get dirty after a while of use. I’m still trying to figure out the best way to clean it fully but other than that this is a great fan. Fits in my window perfectly and the leg stands are useful for when I do not want to prop it in a window

Effective Window Fan
Very nice window fan, with expandable sides to fit different window frames. Each side works independently, so one can blow air out while the other pulls in. Not the most quiet, but it isn’t obnoxiously loud. Would buy again if I had another window to put one in.
