No thicker than a soup can, will tip over easily
From a distance, these are a good looking pair of candlesticks - up close you can see the paint flaws and poor spot-welds. Tried to use these on our dinner table with new 10" tapers, which made them quite top-heavy as these are quite lightweight items.Maybe grouped on a mantlepiece they would work but even then I would suggest not lighting the candles, too much risk of fire!They are going back, needless to say.

Not made very well
Very cheap looking. I had to cover up the bottom of the holder because it looked like drips from the glue had been sprayed over.

I should have looked at this more, they’re painted a matte gold and they just look very cheap. If it were actual brass I would have given 5 stars.

Not sure how sturdy, they're lightweight metal...but fine for us, nice aged look.
