Fraction Activities: Grade 3 (Flash Skills) Paperback – October 5, 2010

I tried several times to explain fractions and my son just wasn’t getting it. This little workbook worked! It’s cute and funny, with short exercises on each page, and does a great job of introducing fractions in easy to understand steps. My son loves it and will often do several pages at a time.

This book made fractions a lot of fun. My daughter loved this as enrichment exercises after school.

These Harcourt Family Learning workbooks are fantastic. My kids enjoy doing them and actually worked on them over Christmas break (Needless to say I was shocked). The books are engaging and make the subject matter fun. That can be tough to do with kids this age!The quality is great, and the pages are not cheap thin paper but rather wood quality and thickness (great for erasing mistakes).Seems to have given both my kids an edge in school.

A very simplistic and very understanding way to teach fractions!

I love this book. Explains fractions so clearly and in such a fun. This is the one math book I recommend to all my kids' 3rd and 4th grade friends who are not understanding fractions.

The drawing and enticing headlines and short mini stories was what drew my son into wanting and willing to do the fractions. The way the division was laid out was very logical and comprehensive.
