Second, there were no assembly instructions, which wasn’t a problem, but I’m pretty sure a part is missing (see attached video). But, I’m primarily unhappy because it’s not the lamp I ordered. I looked and looked for just the right lamp with a remote that would hang over my elderly mother’s bed so she could read, etc. The neck of this lamp does not extend far enough over the bed. So, wrong lamp and missing part. Will be returning.

The remote is connected to the bulb, not the lamp. This lamp replaced an 8 year old light that was leagues brighter than this. This lamp went in the same place.After using the remote to get the lamp to the brightest, the room was still dark af. I even decided to forgo the remote and changed the bulb. It doesn't put out light. It's better than the bulb it comes with, but not great, and not as good as the basic torchiere lamp it replaced.I'm disappointed. Sending it back would be a pain, so I'm going to get a couple table lamps for the mantle. Now, 3 lamps have to do the job that 1 old Target lamp used to do with 60W.

Tall and well lit lamp will help me read in my living room.Pros: small box, easy to assemble (once I figured out I had to take off some plastic pieces around the tubes!), dimming and temperature features are very nice, remote and foot button are a nice addition!Cons: Directions for assembly NEVER tell you to remove the plastic parts around the tubing. I couldn’t figure out how to get the tunes connected, because the plastic pieces looked like part of the tubing.

it was kind of confusing to assemble but we got it lol.. overall i LOVE this lamp!! the remote control to control it is a nice touch! i do not need a smart switch when i have a remote on my desk where i chose to put it... i love being able to change the color and brightness. I wish the shade was white but that's really my only complaint once it was assembled and in use it works great. oh BTW it did NOT come with batteries for the remote so have 2 AAA batteries on hand when ordering this.

It provides a nice variety of color range for reading and concentrating, as well as dimming. The remote paired rather quickly, and works effortlessly. It has good height over my couch and looks great. Taking about 10minutes to set up, and comes with an LED bulb. I just wish it had smart capability.

Flimsy; not the best quality. It doesn't stand up straight. Had to put small wedges under base to level it and it still isn't straight. The piece that screws to the base doesn't fit and it can't be screwed all the way down. Several people have tried. I would return it but let too much time go by.

Love the lamp, nice soothing light over my bed, not very bright, has those fun dimming features, or it does if your remote works. Purchased in July and by October the remote suddenly stopped working. Mobility issues mean moving the lamp from it's current location is impossible for me, and so must use my cane to turn it on and off. Customer Service offered me a new remote, I said Terrific! They needed my email address; ok, and then before they could mail it, they needed my phone number. Fine. Weeks go by, I finally contacted them again, oh, they said, patience please, we will mail it right out, expect it in 5 weeks or 45 days or so. It is now April, no remote. So frustrating. Can't say I recommend this one!

The lamp is VERY easy to assemble and looks beautiful in our family room. The remote control is quite handy and it is really why I chose this lamp. However, there are 2 drawbacks that are not important to me, but might be to others:1. Even on the highest setting it is not very bright.2. It is not very stable on carpet.That is why I gave only 4 stars.
