Let me say, I never thought I would find myself spending this much money on a USB hub. :)I was in the market for a powered USB hub of high quality. I found many cheap, no-name brand hubs that had very mixed reviews. Many times, the reviews would mention them failing early in their life. This hub will be permanently mounted in a cabinet and I did not want to deal with something of cheap quality.After reading some initial reviews of this hub as well as viewing Nexin's webpage, I felt this hub carried a great balance between quality and price. The company has a very thorough webpage that had any information you could want about the hub (not so with most of the cheap hubs) and it looks like the company is based out of California. While I don't know that I would ever need technical support for a USB hub, it's comforting to know there's an actual place to contact the company at.So far, I've only used the hub for a month or so, however the product exudes quality. It's not light and flimsy, but feels firm and "dense". I used to judge power supplies by this quality so hopefully that means this product is built to last as well.I'll be sure to update this review if I ever have problems.

Works as it says. I use it as a lamp {usb led light}. Tight fit on your usb, so data transfer is flawless. A small white dot light lets you know it's connected for 2.0 or 3.0. Will recommend to friends.

MIght be the best usb hub out there. I took a gamble on it and my gamble paid off. I'm an audiophile and have lots of high quality stereo equipment connected through my macbook media center. This hub allows me to connect all my devices and does not add any hissing or poping etc that a poor quality unit would. Also all my devices connect instantly and have never had a single problem getting a device to connect, disconnnect, reconnect etc. Also I love that it has a power button so I can keep my computer on and shut down all my devices. Here's a photo, but the hub is hidden behind the stereo but it has the following plugged into it: AudioEngine USB DAC AudioEngine BlueTooth/USB DAC, AUNE MK2 Tube DAC, wireless usb charger cord for my mini wireless keyboard. It also has the different types of USB support with the 2 voltages and USB 2 and 3 support etc but I don't want to get into that too much right now.

Crap. Failed after 40 days. Since it's beyond Amazons "30 day return" window they will do nothing and refer you to the supplier "Lovey Tool" for warrant issues. They in turn will tell you they can do nothing and simply refer you back to Amazon. Neither will handle the warranty and after back and forth emails, you are just out of luck. Throw it in the garbage and buy a better product.Attempted to contact Nexin, as advised and no response after 4 emails and a phone call.The only good thing, it's cheap so you are not out much for buying this junk.

Works very well, on my MacBook Pro to power my iPad3 Air, scanner and printer, all at once.
