Unit worked for about 3 months. Went to charge the unit and now it won't turn back on.

This could be updated
The fact that you cannot change the battery and the charging cord is proprietary on the input side are major downsides. In 2023 the input should be USB C. The battery should be a AA or CR123 etc. When the internal battery goes bad you end up with a 160 dollar paper weight. And don’t lose or damage the cord. Getting one out of China as a replacement probably won’t be easy. Update these two designs and it’s a 5 star.

This gloss meter is really nice for the price. I ordered by accident and had used it for like an hour or so before realizing it was the wrong one, so I did return it, but It’s very good at measuring gloss at 60 degrees.
