Wow what a marvellous book.
This is the best gift I could give to myself having bought the book after I was scouring for good books. Sorry to those who haven’t done Science and Mathematics this piece of gold is not made for you. Lots of mathematical terms make it difficult for non science and non mathematics.

The points out the fallacy in relating two variables as cause and effect. Some mathematical knowledge is essential to understand the book fully.

Not for someone new to Causation
This book does inform ladder of causation, about confounders, back door criteria, RCT(Random Control Trial). Loved the long chain of events to finally causally link smoking to cancer. The book still remains elusive to a common reader in some sections, if you take it up make sure you are upto with basics of statistics and why correlation is not causation.

There are things which are acausal
I believe in destiny and synchronicity which are acausal, unless one accepts that seed of cause was sown in previous life and what we see is the effect in the present life. Secondly both are non-temporal and non-spatial which plain cause and effect cannot explain.Bhupendra Madhiwalla, Mumbai, India
