KitchenAid Classic Spoon Spatula, One Size, Pistachio

My go to for nonstick pans.

At first I thought this was a bit clumsy to use, but I got used to it. Love the color. I use it all the time. It washes perfectly in the top rack of the dishwasher, doesn't stain (but then I always rinse sauce and stuff off before dishwashing). I have left it briefly in the skillet while cooking and no harm done. I've had it about 3 years now and it's still in good condition. A good tool, reasonable price.

I love this product! I am a KitchenAid junkie and am really into this color blue lately so when I saw this guy, I purchased immediately. It stands up to heat beautifully and fits my hand beautifully while using. It works great as a spatula and while it takes a little work to do so can also be used to spoon out your dish. The best spoonula ever!!! I had a red one and it broke (because I got careless and let it get stuck in the beaters of my kitchen aid mixer ooops !) after like 3-4 years and I had to buy two to replace it !!!! I still use the broken one as it only cracked the silicone a tiny bit. I would highly recommend this product for durability, ease of use and varied applications it works well for everything from cooking’s thigh temps to frosting a cake

I just purchased a set of stainless cookware that is absolutely beautiful  Anolon Ultra Clad Stainless Steel 10-Piece Cookware Set  but it's 18/0 stainless, not 18/10. That means that it scratches more easily than "regular" stainless. Sure it's lighter weight, but metal utensils are not recommended. I have used wood and plastic spoons that stir, but you can't really scrape the corners of any pan or pot with them. What a great invention this spoon-spatula is! I make a lot of soup and with this I can stir and scrape the pot with one utensil. I can stir and serve scrambled eggs, I can scrape and stir in my mixer. Very well made and attractive product. It's wonderful. UPDATE: January 2013-OH OH trouble in paradise. The top of the spatula developed a tear/snag and a quarter of an inch of the top tore off. I have no idea how this happened. This was always washed by hand. Yes, the top is a little floppy, but thats why its useful. Well, I was within the return window so I sent it back for a refund and yes I will purchase another one, but I will take ultra cautious care of it!

I originally found the black Kitchen Aid spatula in Kohls but when I went back to buy one for my brother I found out they had sold out in store so I looked to Amazon. These are great large spatulas for cooking and baking. They're easy to clean and I like that they're designed for scooping and scraping. At the time I bought it here it was almost double the price I had paid in store but it has held up better than any other spatula I've used and my brother seems to really like it.

I really like the color, sturdiness, and it is easy to clean. I have not had it long enough to see the effects of heat resistance when cooking. The one improvement I believe would immensely help is that the handle needs to be 2-3 inches longer. That would put my hand further away from the heat of the cooking pan and also give me more ability to swirl around in the pan when making scrambled eggs, or anything which needs to be mixed.

The KitchenAid Silicone Spoon Spatula changed my life! This is my second one. It cradles your hand perfectly, like two close friends spooning in a breezy backyard hammock. Cooking eggs with this beauty is a joy. It easily smoothes food away from pans and bowls that other subpar spatulas leave crusted behind. It’s just short enough to fit like a glove in the dishwaher’s silverware bucket, which endears me to it even more. I don’t understand why they devalue the Aqua Sky model, but it’s a couple dollars less expensive. What’s wrong Aqua Sky? Why is she less valuable? It’s just a color and a quite beautiful one at that. This spatula is the little spatula that could…. and it does!

Very sturdy and easy to clean. Appreciate the small curve to it that allows for easier scraping of bowls.
