It works with the Raspberry Pi direct 3.3v output connections. This motor is very (too?) strong with the 36v/4amps DC power supply... maybe going with 24v is a better choice. I was amazed that after a few hours of operations of going back and forth with the directions, the motor was at exact spot.The alarm was was tricky but I made my LED work by making this connection:5volts -> 1K resistor -> ALARM+ and ALARM- -> LED -> ground... later on, I bought 5volt relay and with the above connection, I connect the relay input to ALARM+.. the relay turned a loud alarm.
