NORCOLD INC 61717037 Refrigerator Part Ignition Control Module Assembly

Our frig was not cooling properly. After struggling through the diagnostic procedures we finally came to the conclusion that it was the igniter module. This unit was a direct and easy installation and the frig has been working fine ever since we replace the unit.

Perfect replacement for a 1996 Allegro Bus Norcold refrigerator unit. Installed in about 5 minutes and the refrigerator auto ignition is back in business.

Our refrigerator was working but on propane, I'd have to manually light it. I tested everything because it seemed like the control module was the least likely culprit, from what I read.After testing everything, I ordered this and popped it in, fired up right away. We're back up and running and the fridge is working great.

I used the Bryant website to trouble shoot my 1999 vintage norcold 600 fridge (site is phenomenal) [...]All tests but one led to the igniter being defective. In my case, the ac on light and the gas on light would both work when selected but there was never a pilot light. The red warning light did not come on. The 110v side did work like it was supposed to. I bought the igniter and hooked it up. It instantly worked like it was supposed to. Extremely pleased. The unit has a single plug for the controls and then a single wire to the sparker. Took perhaps 4 minutes to hook it all together. Two screws attach it to the fridge. My advice is to check the Bryant site to be sure you need this and not one of the other three electronic components.

This fixed my issue of the flame sensor not working. My refrigerator would ignite properly, but would not sense the flame and shut itself off. I tried replacing and adjusting the ignitor but it made no difference. I also made sure to clean out any wasp nests and junk in the burner tube and exhaust. I replaced the control exterior side control panel after reading reviews saying this fixed the same issue I was having, but again this did not fix my issue.Once this was installed my refrigerator ignited and worked normally again

Original lasted from 1995 to 2021. Purchased this one as a replacement and it quit working after 2 years. Had to buy another.

Note: This parts dont look the same at all from my old one. But it work perfect!!! I add one sensor and one igniter pin on flame trower, on the old one, but this new part only uses one, and it work perfect! The old electronic card controle plug right in the later model ignter controle box. Plug and play! That easy!

Works great. Simple install and the fridge is now working. For the DIY person, there's a lot of information online on how to diagnosis your rv fridge. I would highly recommend doing the diagnostic tests before throwing money at it. This was a simple job and saved me buying a new fridge.

Dead fridge started working perfectly after installing this.
