NOT AS ADVERTISED. Claims the threaded brass insert is M12x1.5 - which apparently all the Mercedes Benz oil filling adapters are threaded to match. Ordered this kit, with an oil filling adapter also threaded as M12x1.5. They did not fit together ! However, I could see that the female brass threads on the adapter in this kit looked poorly made, and thought that might be the problem. Returned it and ordered the same thing as a replacement. Still did not fit the oil filling adapter I had. Time for a trip to the hardware store - where I discovered that the brass insert in this kit is actually M12x1.75 !! Yet, it says right on the package that it is threaded with a 1.5 pitch. Sorry, but that is WRONG. Also checked my oil filling adapter while at the hardware store. It is indeed threaded with a 1.5 pitch - which obviously explains why it would not fit either of these two kits I ordered. Seems to me if you're selling something, you should at least get the description correct. Will be returning this kit, and ordering a different brand - in hopes of getting something that is actually threaded to the size it claims to be. Huge waste of my time.
