apply sparingly to avoid cracked lips look
I have used the 2 step Infallible lip for a few years. I think the quantity of base coat lasts a sufficient while for the price, but you have to use caution with the top coat - it is soft and can break off, and it WILL MELT if left in the car, or even if your handbag gets too warm outside. It is absolutely long lasting when applied properly - it can last all day AND overnight - 24 hours+ when applied properly. Of cure, smoking and drinking are the biggest ways to lose the infallability. I have never found another product that does this well, because I have the kind of skin that seems to absorb makeup like a sponge. My best look is: use a line filler and softener first/ I like Clinque's "All About Lips" lip sealer which works on the skin and the lips and a little goes a long way to help offset the seemingly outrageous price. I like Aquaphor too, which works on the lips alone. Let whichever product you use soak in and "dry" before applying Infallible color, even if it just regular face lotion that gets on your lips, because anything else applied must be soaked in completely for better Infallible longevity. Use the applicator which has a special-shaped sponge pad by holding it in different ways and using different pressures. Hold it sideways to press against the upper lip, one side at a time, from the cupid-bow tip downward. Use the tip of applicator to "draw" the cupid-bow center. Never fill in the corners of the top lip. Load more onto to applicator for the lower lip. With the tip of applicator, swipe down from top of lower lip toward the bottom, starting on the outer edge at the corners, then dab (press, release, press, release) at the center of lower lip. That kind of plumps up the lower lip and also makes the outline at the same time if the applicator is help at the right angles. Play with and you'll catch on. Now here'es my special top: If the color is dark, or too much, use a section of toilet paper to kiss it off your lips a bit. You have to do that right way though or it won't come off once dry. Another trick is to put on a coat of deep color, then quickly go over it with a very pale color, to make an all together new color. If the red is too red for you, add a super pale pink over it. Like that. Once dry then put on the 2nd part, the clear gloss top coat. That top coat gloss effect will seem to come off but it does seal the 1st coat and the top coat can be reapplied throughout the day if you need. You will also find that some colors stay on you longer and others seem to fade off quickly. I do not understand this but what I noticed is the ones that best fit my skin tone seem to stay on the longest.

Budget friendly long lasting lip color option
I love the L'Oreal Pro-Last Color Lipstick. I have friends who have started selling LipSense but I refused to invest the money it would require and consume to have various colors of the product. After searching through some online reviews I decided to order two different types of lip product that are supposed to be budget friendly and mostly comparable. The Pro-Last Color Lipstick is a good fit for me. It does need touched up if I have a meal with a lot of oil but otherwise the color stays put through my whole day with only a slight fade. The only time I've experienced flaking is when I first started and put the product on too thick. Since I learned to put a thin coat of color on I haven't experienced any flaking. It doesn't take long to dry before I am able to apply the balm so I've worked it into my makeup routine to apply the color, do another step in my routine and then apply the balm. I do reapply the balm a couple times a day if my lips feel dry. My only disappointment is that L'Oreal doesn't sell the balm separately as I hate that I'll be wasting the color side of this when I run our of the balm. The colors are hard to judge when buying online so here are my thoughts on the two that I've bought. My first purchase was of #109, Toujour Teaberry, and the second #115, Timeless Rose. Toujour Teaberry is shown on the left in the picture and Timeless Rose on the right. They appear close in color in the tubes but there is enough variety between them they give a very different look when applied. Toujour Teaberry has what look to be small bronze/rose like shimmer flecks in it which are not pounced when applied. It goes on with a darker rose appearance which I find works really well for the office. Timeless Rose while just a step or two lighter than Toujour Teaberry looks much lighter on the lips and has silver/iridescent flecks which gives it more of a sparkle and shimmer look on the lips in comparison to the other color. The shimmer sticks with you on Timeless Rose where it isn't really noticeable on Toujour Teaberry. I love the lighter color for a feel of Spring or Summer but personally will not wear Timeless Rose if I'm going to be in the office.Overall it's a great product with some good color choices. I'll definitely be buying a couple more color options.

No es de larga duración
Buena base de color, no dura mucho, sólo si lo utilizas sin comer dura un poco más; es preferible usar un labial humectante después de usar este

Box
This lipstick is fine however they sent it in a box that is 8”x3”x6” ! It could’ve fit in a small envelope. Ludicrous.

Great staying power
These lipsticks have staying power. I can put on in the morning and still see it later in the day. Even when I’ve eaten and drunk during the day
