Adjustable thickness crush resistant pillow
Delivered promptly as well protected parcel. This pillow was chosen as its thickness is adjustable thus meeting my neck problem. On unpacking the actual pillow was inside a black fabric zip up bag with the zip tied shut. The pillow has a pillow protector style cover with a zip closer at one end. Ventilation fabric runs round all four sides. It is good quality and adequately strong. Washing instructions included. The final section of the pillow uses a relatively light fabric holding the stuffing which is packed in tight. The stuffing is 10 mm foam cubes. The foam is fairly dense and recovers immediately when crushed. The pillow hardness is on a par with a down filled pillow.. For my use some four handfuls of stuffing have been removed. A bag is included for storing removed stuffing but is too small. This pillow is used inside an ordinary pillow slip. In use the pillow does not feal lumpy from the foam filling. Possible down side. If the pillow would be subject to strong sunlight the manufactures spec does not say if the foam filling is uv resistent.

Versatile, comfort and lots of cubes.
I’m really enjoying adding and taking out the nano cubes to create my perfect pillow. I’m nearly there. I think this is a great concept as let’s me explore all options. I was amazed by the amount of cubes that came with the pillow. Given that I have very few, I have enough to make another one for my husband by using a zip mattress protector to house the cubes. As the main pillow case is very large, I think it’s slightly over sized when trying to get it in my standard pillow case, which for me means less nanotubes in my pillow. It’s an expensive purchase, but I think it’s worth it for the versatility it brings. And of course it’s very comfortable and you have no feeling of the cubes at all, just softness.

So far it is the best pillow I have used
After my initial disappointment that there was no bag to store spare filling cubes and the shabby box it arrived in, I decided I would just use a carrier bag for the cubes and not worry about the box. I have to say that Amazon were very good about this when I contacted them and offered a refund straight away, they could not order me a new storage bag on its own as this was a third party seller. I was keen to try this pillow out and so I decided to keep it. I have to say first off that I have spent hundreds of pounds on pillows over time in an effort to not wake up with sore neck and a headache. My most recent one was a pure down pillow which cost £65, but it did not help and I was really at my wits end and blaming myself for the way I sleep. Anyway, enough of the back story, as I said the box was shabby and seemed to have suffered the worse for wear, and it was far smaller than the boxes I have seen on you tube videos. The pillow was squeezed in really tightly and it was wrapped in a plastic bag inside the box. When I took it out I was disappointed as it seemed so small, but I soon realised that it needed time to come back to size. I unzipped the main pillow and inside was a thin nylon smaller pillow full of blue cubes which were all tightly squashed together. I knew that many people take out a few handfuls of the cubes in order to adjust the height of the pillow to suit. This is where the bag which should have been supplied would have come in useful. Anyway, I took out about five handfuls of what by now were half inflated cubes and put them to one side. They do have a bit of a smell at first, but this does dissipate. There are two sides to the pillow cover, one has a layer of down and is quite soft and one has a cooling fabric which really does feel cool against the skin, but this feeling is lost once you put a pillow case onto it, I was not prepared to use it without one. I put the cube filled inner pillow back into the cover, zipped up both inner and outer pillow and left it out on top of the bed to finish getting back to size before I went to bed. Even with quite a lot of the cubes removed the pillow is still quite large, but when you lie on it you will notice it goes down nicely and seems to cradle your head at the sides if you are lying on your back. It is also supportive when you lie on your side too. Well after being undeniably sceptical after trying so many pillows, I have to say I was rather pleased with my first night using this. You cannot feel the cubes and I did not awake with neck ache. I thought I should maybe take out a few more cubes, so I did, but the night after that I put a very small amount back. I would say I am still in the process of discovering what it just right for me. If you were to ask me would I give it back and get my money returned - all £99 pounds of it, I would say no - I want to keep it. It is without doubt the best I have used so far and I actually look forward to sleeping on it. I am still in the early days though and there is perhaps still a tiny bit of tweaking to get it just right. I cannot afford it at the moment, but I think in time I will treat myself to the mattress to go with the pillow. So all in all, I would say that for me this pillow is worth the high cost and if I should change my mind I will come back to this review and let you know.

Fab pillow.
This is a really comfortable pillow. You have extra cubes of sponge to put in of necessary, or you can take some out to suit. I bought an extra bag of foam bricks and its perfect. Quite expensive but hope it lasts a long time.

Not as supportive as I had hoped ...
Having always slept using a feather pillow, I decided to try Simba as they came very highly rated (by Which?). It's fine - just as comfortable as the old feather pillow, but it still doesn't offer the support I had hoped. I am a left-side sleeper and was constantly waking up with a stiff left shoulder, and still am after 3 weeks using the Simba. I have just ordered some more pellet things to put into the pillow and hope this will help.

I hate to admit it... but....
As per the title I really hate to admit it because it was awfully expensive but darn it, this is one of the best things I have ever bought myself. I've not had mine a week, or a month, but 8 months. It is the best pillow I have ever had. We all know that one pillow for most is not enough, yet two is too much. This pillow with all of the cubes in is that one pillow I always wished for. It is incredibly comfy and never needs smashing around like my feather pillows used to every night. The cool side is incredible, and even for a larger fellow like myself (at 15st, I slept on this weighing 21 !) it is amazing throughout the summer. I don't like warm pillows (I like my bedroom freezing tbh) and so I never use the warm side.I actually like this pillow so much that I just bought a Simba mattress and I love that just as much. So much so I treated myself tonight to the duvet.I am an older gentleman (50) with arthritis and osteoporosis. Things like this at my age make my life better than pretty much anything else has.I really can not speak highly enough of this product. I love it with my very being.
