Got this for my husband since he drives a lot. It connects right away. Charger port works well. He did say that he wishes it would have the ability to talk on the phone with it still attached. Overall, good product.

I ordered both the black and gray not knowing which color I'd like best. The black seems to pickup more noise or electrical interference when I plug the power to *ATTEMPT* to charge. I installed a battery indicator widget on my iPhone just to double check. After a few minutes was indeed going down and not charging. The battery indicator on the phone will like flicker, but doesn't go into charge mode. Maybe it's my iPhone Xs Max or my 2019 Macbook Pro, but either way it's not working for me and I strongly recommend others not to waste their time. If it worked it would be awesome :(

Glad to have purchased this. Awesome I am now able to charge and use my headphones at the same time. Added bonus is that I can use my old 3.5mm headphones.

This thing is fine as an aux adapter for your iPhone, but the charging function does not work at all. As a matter of fact, when I plug it in to charge, my phone will say it’s getting juice but then you can watch the battery actively drain. So, not only does it NOT charge your phone, but it sucks the battery life out.When you’re not trying to charge and listen to music at the same time, it works just fine. 2.5 stars for doing half of what it’s supposed to do. Half star reduced for the broken part not only not working, but exacerbating the problem it’s supposed to solve. Two Star total.
