I have used it a few times and even loaned it to my friend and its worked great. It makes my dollar store sodoku so sharp it cuts tomatoes nice and thin. My housekeeper who does a lot of my food prep is able to get the veges very thinly sliced; just the way I like it done. A great investment. A great price too.

I have Calphalon knives that haven't been sharpened since the day I purchased them nearly six years ago. I used this sharpener on them and they are noticeably sharper and cutting with much greater ease. I have always loved my knives so I'm glad that this sharpener has gotten them close to good as new.

I used this on my everyday ranch knife which gets abused a lot. I was using a diamond sharping piece but could never get a good edge. This you just take three or four swipes through it and your done. It's easy to use and you get a sharp knife. Did the paper test afterwords and it passed. doing some of the kitchen knifes now.

This is the best knife sharpener I've ever owned. 4 passes on the left channel and 4 passes on the finer right channel and your knives are noticeably sharper. Great for maintaining edges. The base keeps the sharpener firmly in place. I've owned one for several years and I now give them as gifts.

I was impressed with this sharpener, had only used a wet stone before, but this got my knife sharp with relatively minimal effort, so that's definitely a win.

It does not sharpen my knives, simple as that

Do NOT use on a Chinese cleaver. Works fine on my other knives.
