Easy to use, and works very well
I've been infamous for years for managing to kill plants. I want to grow a lot more of the food my family eats, so I picked plants I know do well in Anchorage (Zone 3)I deliberately chose perennials and over the last few years have planted strawberries, rhubarb, mint and raspberries. They survived, but didn't thrive.Until this year, this year as soon as the ground was workable, I followed the instructions on the bag of plant food, and worked some of this in the soil around my perennials. I added some recently, just about halfway through the summer. The food is in little pellets, easy to measure and easy to use. I didn't notice any dust from the pellets. The 3 canes of raspberries I planted the first year, came back as 6 canes the second and they were really small. This year, it didn't take long at all, they've become a thicket, spreading well with lots of big, gorgeous berries ripening. My strawberries are also growing a lot more fruit, and sending off lots of runners. The rhubarb is doing similarly well. I didn't feed the mint and it's the only thing that's not growing like crazy.I plan to use this next year.

This stuff is fantastic!! The "mold" Justcato(whom has never left a positive review) described is actually the beneficial soil microbes that he threw away. No joking around, I use General Hydro, Advanced Nutrients, Fox Farm...I throw this in the soil when I transplant and plants don't miss a beat. I'd put it up against Great White Mycorrhizae when I soak the granules in a tea with humic acid.

IT STINKS
Good Grief! This stuff is horrendous. It turned into a thick blanket of grey furry mold - all over my veggies! I had to go and peel it off of everything- and throw it all away- it also attracted the wildlife- because of the smell- don't know what's in it- but it smells enough that a raccoon came and ripped the bag open! SKIP IT.
