Great fan for the money, but tricky to install blades
This is a sleek, quiet fan. It moves air well. However, there are two areas in which it falls short. First is the packaging of the small parts. There are two sets of screws and they appear very similar. One is set screws for attaching the blade mountings to the motor and the other is for attaching the blades to the blade mountings. They are in separate bags and the bags have cryptic labels on them. However, the instructions do not specify which bag holds the screws for which purpose. You're on your own to figure it out; it's not an impossible task, but it is annoying, The second deficiency is much more problematic. After the fan motor is assembled, wired and mounted to the ceiling, the blades must be attached. On most fans, the blades are attached from below and it is not a big deal. On this fan, however, the blades are attached by two set screws from the top. First comes the difficulty of getting the blade mounting properly aligned with the internal mounting holes. Then, you have to go from above and insert the set screws into the mounting holes. If you have fat fingers (like mine), this can be very tricky and, if you drop a screw, if falls into the housing and is very difficult to locate and retrieve. Assuming you get these two steps done and are able to start the screws by hand, they must be tightened securely from above. Yeah, good luck. If you use the 6" downrod that comes with the fan, you have very little space between the fan and the ceiling. You can't see in there and you can't get a regular length screwdriver in there. Even if you have a stubby phillips-head screwdriver, the screws require quite a bit of torque because they are set screws designed to tighten securely and never let go. It is almost impossible to apply this torque from below while also exerting enough downward pressure to keep the screwdriver blade in the slot on the screw. I gave it 4 stars because I was able to solve all of these problems and the result is a very nice fan.

Clean modern fan with excellent lighting
My handiman said it was easy to install. Didn't come with remote and don't see a dimmer but it's exactly what I wanted.
