Excellent product at great value
I bought this device to monitor my dog as she now live outside during the working day. The first thing I noticed was how stylish the camera was, it doesnt look ghastly in the garden :-)The camera itself was very easy to setup, step by step instructions on how to connect to your router and then add the camera. I had this up and running about 5 mins after downloading the App (Android but also on IoS).The quality of the footage is very very good and you have the option to install a SD card for continous recording. A hidden suprise was not only the ability to listen to recording but speak through the camera. I can now tell my dog off from the work office !!!!Overall an excellent product and well recommended.

Good value for money, strong on image and motion, weak on video playback and the app
At around 40 quid not bad value for money. Main weaknesses are...a) Video playback in the app, from the inserted microSD memory card (64G Class 10), is slow on my phone even when I am at home, connected to a strong Virgin wifi, which tells me that the electronics reading out the microSD in the camera are a bit slow...b) I can t read car licence plates as clear as I would like at the distance I would like, but having said this is not a long range camera. ...c) the 'Recording Schedule' feature in the app is not actually working/available, one can t set time windows at which the camera would record, so it records all the time, having said that the only disadvantage from that is that I receive notification on my phone all the time. Main strengths are... a) It really does not miss a fly, motion detection is strong.... b) switching the camera image setting from 'normal' to 'colour' in the app renders a good night image.... c) great to be able to watch what is happening back home 'live' through my phone and to speak to somebody even. I also tested the camera behind glass, at an angle to the glass window so that the led reflection from the glass falls away from the camera window, and the result is very good, of course one looses a bit of image clarity at greater distance this way. I plan to contact the seller regarding the slow readout/playback of the video, and also regarding the app.

Good quality and functionality for the price
I was surprised by the build quality and range of settings that can be configured on this camera. The picture quality was surprisingly good for a relatively inexpensive device. This camera allows you set video and audio quality settings as well as being able to set notification and recording schedules.A microSD card can be inserted into the device for recording and once the camera has been configured, you can remotely access it at any time and if required alter settings. It also has a built in microphone and speaker so that, as well as being able to see someone, you can hear and talk to them via your phone. The setup was straight forward as the camera comes with all the required cables and has easy to follow instructions enclosed.

Dont Bother
Tried other cameras and thought because of the reviews this would be better - it isn't.Set up was relatively easy. providing you take your time and read the instructions carefully. The camera is mounted outside and using a sky fibre HUB which is roughly 3 metres away from the camera. The signal strength according to the WIFI manager is 74%As far as the whole operation goes it is pointless exercise. Once set up and online it will disconnect and reconnect every minute or so then when its back online it continuously comes up with motion alarm and then disconnects and spends 1 or 2 minutes trying to reconnect to the WIFI.The play back on the Micro SD card is jittery. (if it records at all)The camera app states the camera is Online, yet when i go out and stand in front of the camera I can only occasionally see myself on the camera phone app. Usually as soon as i enter the field of view the camera triggers the Motion Alarm and then disconnects from WIFI and spends the next minute or so connecting to the WIFI. Even waving my arms about it in front of the lens, it still never seems to record, yet a moth or a raindrop flies by and the camera records! (tried setting the motion detection to low then 50 and then to 100)The email Alarm with pictures is set to 'on' but after entering all the relevant details and then pressing 'test' it just comes up with loading and a spinning wheel. All in all a waste of time and money

I would keep looking
The motion detection is impossible to set properly, it's set off constantly by fog, rain and wind even with the detector set to 20/100. The picture is okay but if you try to grab a still frame from a video your going to get a burry mess. I still haven't been able to figure out how to send video clips, they save to to random folder inside the app where all I can do is view them. The only real change is thieves have started covering their faces with their hands when they come by my house.

Requires a massive hole in the wall!
Camera works fine and quality is also fine. I didn't use the suggested app as this requires an Android emulator, which is slow and uses up resources unnecessarily on the PC. Using a mobile phone works fine (better that PC). But, the main problem, as someone else had commented ( I didn't see this comment before purchasing), is that the cabling is terminated in free sockets and these have to be passed through the wall so the camera is outside and the 3 connectors are inside, Because the cable is not pluggable at the camera end, you need a hole in the wall of at least 30mm, which is ridiculous. The actual cable is about 7mm dia, so a slim socket need only be 10mm dia, which would then be OK. A good product spoiled by lack of thought about the actual use it would be put to.

Good Alternative.
I wanted to re purchase a previous camera that worked with the CamHi app. However it was out of stock with no ‘in stock’ guaranteed. I choose this one (a wee bit cheaper and it worked with CamHi app). It works well, good pictures and easy to set up (on two ifons). The set up was easy for me (no expert). Quick delivery, all good so far. I am waiting on my husband fitting it to the outside wall, otherwise I would have included a picture.
