The RGB colors are not very bright, something to consider if you want strong party lights. Otherwise they make great accent lights.The 6000k and 2700k tempuratures are much brighter. Sadly 6000k is rather blue (as expected) and 2700k is very orange/warm. I had purchased some of their other white/warm bulbs that are very bright and have a very smooth gradient between temps. If I could dial in 4500-5000 on these I would be very happy. As it stands I will use them as porch lights.I have these setup with IFTTT to auto turn on when it rains, and alexa is able to use them for guard mode. The app is not great with me not able to set my location. It tries to use my GPS coordinates but the map never loads on my phone. They have no option for manually entering my zip code. This removes the built in smart functions making me use IFTTT. Also IFTTT doesn't recognize groups of bulbs from the service. I have my doubts about long term software support, but the lower price offsets some worry.

*update* Red color stopped working so any color that needs red doesn't work. (I like to turn the light yellow sometimes but now it turns green when I say yellow and it turns off when I say red.) I decided I'm not going to trash em. Instead, I will go ahead and rebox and return. Which is a pain in the a** sometimes but I can buy two of another brand I know is good and is around the same price. Originally the only reason I ordered these bulbs in particular is because you could change the color temperature.Which I found out you can't change the color temp by voice, too, and that's another thing that kinda sucks.. Changing color temp is somethIng I can't do with the other brand but I can live without that by just Turning the light yellow or white and brighten/dim it, which basically does the same thing, visually, as changing color temp.*Original review*I should have stuck with what I’m familiar with but I figured I would try these because of the similar price. Well, the one I've tried is way too dim and, while in color mode, flickers a lot, like it wants to change colors on its own for a split second. 100% brightness on these is equal to around 50% the brightness of a competitor that also runs about $10/bulb. I would try to get my money back but to spend the time and money for gas to drive to ship broken smart bulbs back just so I can get like $18 or whatever seems like a waste of time, gas and energy (I can barely walk due to current problems with my legs and shouldn’t even be driving anyways), so into the trash they go... (The bulbs, not my legs. Ha!) anyways, I still wanted to leave a review. Maybe I’ll try a different product from this brand in the future. Maybe. :/

This lights worked great at first even better I could use the same app I use for other smart devices in my house. Now it has been a few weeks I move one bulb and another was accidently turned off and neither light will now connect at all. The lights turn on flash work just can’t connect to an app nor the lohas app. So now they are useless and just a normal light bulb. I’ve tried for half a day off and on to get them to connect. Will update if the seller can fix this situation.Seller does nothing to fix the situation. Just email back and forth. Constantly telling me how to connect them again. And guess what they will not connect. Not with slow blinking or the fast blink connect. I’ve tried all ways I used YouTube to try different ways. It was super easy when I first got them. Now they just will not connect. Waste of time.

Just FYI - these bulbs might be great, but they have a couple big flaws.For one thing, you have to download an app to fully use them (change colors, etc.). This isn't special - many bulbs require this - but I'm not sure I trust the maker of the LOHAS bulbs enough to install their app on my phone. Philips? Sure. LOHAS? Ehhhhh...Luckily, this never really came up because of the second issue, which is that these bulbs connect to 2.4GHz networks ONLY. If you're like me and have a mesh network that only has one SSID and treats 2.4 and 5 GHz networks the same, you probably won't be able to connect these to your Wi-Fi. One thing you can do is see if your router can separate your Wi-Fi into discrete 2.4 and 5 GHz networks - the traditional "My Wi-Fi 2G" and "My Wi-Fi 5G" setup. If you don't want to do that - and you didn't buy the best mesh router in 2019 only to set up your router like it's 2009, did you? - then you can buy a 2.4GHz only Wi-Fi extender, set that up, and have your smart bulbs connect to your network that way. I happened to have an old TP-Link TL-WA855RE extender laying around, so I set that up, reserved the extender and bulb's IP addresses in my Velop, and it's been working well for almost 3 weeks.

Really like these lights. The programming could be easier.
