Padida Travel Umbrella, Auto Open /Close, Windproof ,Compact for Easy Carrying

The initial impression after seeing the packaging and the product was good. The build materials seemed to be of good quality. The first open worked fine. Tried closing it and and the top closed fine. However it was hard to push the handle back to close it fully. Then opened it the second time and it no longer closes. The top part did not close fully though it became slightly loosened. I thought of returning it to Amazon but with the canopy not contracting I can't even pack it for shipment. Thankfully Amazon refunded the full amount without asking to return the product.

Used the first time it rained and worked fine. I decided to take it on my vacation since the forecast called for rain. We were walking down the street and it started to pour hard. My husband took out the umbrella and the buttons wouldn't work. Somehow the spring was broken and wouldn't stay open. We were both wet!

For what it is for its price it's good. But this umbrella with fairly above average winds will turn inside out. The button on it for opening and closing the umbrella is a bit annoying too since you use part of the button to close it and part of it to open it unlike a traditional umbrella where the entire button does everything. I was trying to figure it out in the rain and the thing shut on me and I couldn't get it to open which was annoying so I'll probably get a different one when this one breaks.

The close button broke the first time I used it. I then spent 5 minutes just trying to close it manually so I can send it back to amazon. The idea of auto open/close is good but poor quality ruined it. Do not buy!

Horrible product - purchased Dec 2016 but didn't actually first use it until last week. The first time I used it I could not get it to close and lock again. Another person at the wedding I was in saw my issue, looked at it and said he had purchased the same umbrella previously and the first time HE tried to close it he couldn't get it to close either, so he threw his away. I know this is a low cost item but one would think it would work properly at least once, and now I know another person had the same issue. Maybe we both got duds, not sure, but definitely won't purchase this again.

This umbrella is extremely small and portable. It has handled high winds fairly well, and never breaks even when the wind forces it inside out. The umbrella itself has a very good area of coverage and is able to easily shelter myself and another person from the rain. It folds down smaller than any other umbrella that I've had, which makes this particularly good for travel. One of the best small umbrellas I've had at a very reasonable price.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  When it was working it was wonderful, but after the fifth time of use the thing will not deploy. I hit the button and nothing happens. It's just a broken limp umbrella now. Horrible. Paid alot of money for this thing and now I'm back to using my cheap umbrella from Target. I had that thing since the early 2000's and it still works thank goodness.

I wouldn't use this as a door stop. I bought it as a backup and when I pulled it out of the box DOESN'T WORK. From now on I read the reviews EVERY TIME. I think the company knew they had a lemon as I bought it on sale, but still it was broken from the start. ZERO STARS
