GREAT PRODUCT!!! Professional & Reliable HDMI Transmitter.

I am 100% pleased with the Hollyland Mars 300 Wireless HDMI Video Transmission System. I plan on purchasing another kit soon. There are so many good things to say about this wireless HDMI system.Video feed from Camera to Livestream laptop:I was searching for a way to wirelessly transmit an HDMI video signal from a camera (Panasonic GH5) to video capture device (AJA U-Tap) for laptop multi-camera live streaming on VMIX software. This was the perfect solution. This device transmits crystal clear 1080p 60fps video & audio hundreds of feet without distortion or signal interference. I used this device in a crowded high school basketball gym, and the Hollyland Mars 300 never lost connection. The transmitter and receiver were placed about 150 feet apart. The signal was solid despite having smartphones, Bluetooth devices, and wireless mics in the same room. The wireless connection was super solid.Setup and use:The Hollyland Mars 300 Wireless HDMI Video Transmission System is very simple to set up and use. The kit comes paired from the factory. I just powered the transmitter and receiver, and the connection was made. It’s so easy.Power:The transmitter and receiver can be powered by an outlet & DC adapter or Sony NP-F style batteries. I got over 5 hours of use on a generic NP-F970 battery. The package includes one DC adapter to power the receiver. An NP-F style battery was used to power the transmitter. The transmitter and receiver immediately pair as soon as the devices are powered.Mounting:The kit comes with one cold shoe mounting kit. I used the mounting kit on the transmitter end. The receiver had a 1/4”-20 thread that I mounted to the top of a light stand.Video feed from Laptop to Projector:The Hollyland Mars 300 can also be used to wirelessly send a 1080p 60fps HDMI signal from a laptop to a video projector. This gives us the freedom to connect our laptop to a projector without having to run a long HDMI cable. In the past, we had to tape HDMI cable to the floor to prevent event attendees from tripping on HDMI cables.Price:The Hollyland Mars 300 is very well priced as of 2019. I spent $150 on the IOGEAR - Wireless HDMI TV Connection Kit and returned it because the video feed would freeze up during important presentations. I was happy to get a much higher quality product for a little more money. I plan on getting another Hollyland kit soon.In conclusion, this is a high quality, reliable piece of professional equipment. I would recommend this device for someone looking to send an HDMI signal wirelessly and reliably.

Great wireless video at a great price

UPDATE 11/30/20: I've been using this unit with my Glidecam, so that my client can watch while I'm flying the camera. It's been working perfectly for me, in all sorts of challenging environments. Most recently I used it in a hospital setting, and even with all the RF flying around, it was rock solid, sometimes even well beyond the stated 300 ft. range. After 11 months, I'm really happy with this purchase!###I've been searching for a reasonably priced HDMI transmitter for quite some time. I've even tried a Cinegears 600MP. It worked great, but yikes...$1500?!?I heard about the Mars 300 being sold for $389 on a flash sale, so I picked one up, half expecting to have to send it back. Boy, was I wrong about that! This unit is solidly built, probably from aluminum. It feels substantial, like it's going to last a long time. Everything is very straightforward, you just attach a Sony L-series battery to the transmitter, hook up the power supply to the receiver, and that's all there is to it. It just works. And yes, you can change channels if you need to, etc. etc. But it worked perfectly, right out of the box.The range in my plaster-and-lath home was actually better than the Cinegears (I think the Cinegears is a little more sensitive to 5G wifi contamination). It worked perfectly upstairs and downstairs in my home. Can't wait to get it out in the field to try it out in a real-world situation. The box includes a form-fitting foam lining that hugs all the components perfectly. So I just went to Harbor Freight, bought one of their tiny little Apache 1800 cases, and put the lining inside the HF case. Custom hard-shell case, for $14! :)The unit comes with transmitter, receiver, power supply, and FIVE antennae (you only need four - they include an extra in case you break it). Both the transmitter and receiver are tiny, about the size of a deck of cards. But they feel really, really solid. All in all, I'm very pleased with my purchase. Based on the ridiculous prices of other more "professional" models, I would have been happy to spend even $500 for this one. Time will tell, and if I get out in the field and find problems with it, I'll update my review. But for now, it seems rock solid for the price.

Great wi-fi video for the price, solid performance

I use this transmitter-receiver pair to go wireless on multi-camera video shoots. Signal quality is amazing and with near-zero latency. The further the camera the more drift maybe, but still very usable for saving your knees on running miles and dollars of gaff tape! The connectivity is sometimes iffy and may take a while to sync, found that some HDMI cables may not work as well as others, but I suspect that has to do with the cables. The units are well built and will take an NP series Sony battery for hours on end (970). I wish they made an SDI version on this compact form-factor. Also, only one power supply. I had a hard time finding a duplicate to connect both units to wall electricity which in the professional video world is a must on long shoots. All in all, VERY satisfied with the buy, will be getting more for other cameras.

Great Wireless System for RED Epic/Raven

I ordered this wireless after my older wireless finally bit the dust. I was hesitant at first, because of the latency specs and HDMI only but the price was right and I needed it for a horror feature I was shooting. It worked great. No complaints from the 1st AC pulling focus on our Atomos setup, picture was good enough for the Scripty and Director, it even transmitted through several walls in an old house we were shooting in. Battery Life was great with NP F970s around 6-7 hours. I couldn't be happier with the price/performance of the unit. Also, pretty solid build quality. At least as good as the older Bolt 300 systems. At this price, just get it. It's a No Brainer.

Too much latency.

Pretty big delay from camera to monitor. But it is reliable.
