1822-00 22" x 18" Bass Drum Soft Case

++ ADDING COMMENT April, 2016: Just want to say that, after experiencing a problem with this case, long after any reasonable warranty period, I was treated extraordinarily well by Protection Racket's representative, Dean Bowdery. This is a first-class operation!I've got the entire range of these, for Kick, toms, snare and cymbals. (I just replaced this one because, after it got soaked on an outdoor gig, I made the mistake of turning up the heat on the industrial clothes dryer I was using and shrinking the thing.) There are so many great features to this case. Gotta love the simple but ingenious addition of handles on the sides of the case: great for carrying it through doorways or just in general. The combination of fleece and gel internal layer make this a VERY protective case. The zippers are super sturdy and smooth. And the case retains it shape well enough when empty to allow for relatively easy insertion of the drum (it does require a little finesse: I make sure the lid is propped on something and sort of round out the case with my hands before very slowly lowering the drum into the case). I've used my set of Protection Racket cases for two to three gigs per week on average for two and a half years with no issues whatever (except for previously mentioned soaking!). The cases also nest well when empty, creating an easy-to-carry single item to stash while on a gig. And, they look cool...As the title of the review says....

There is nothing about this case or any cases in this line of Protection Racket's cases that is bad. The outer material is extremely tough, the inner very soft, and the case provides the best protection of any soft case I've ever seen. Opposing handles on the flat sides and one big handle on the side make carrying it a breeze. Extremely good quality zippers.I've had Protection Racket cases for all my drums for a number of years and not one of them has ripped or broken in anyway. Very solid choice.

These bags ae built like TANKS ! Best there is ! I am constantly in and out of Nightclubs with my drums and this bag protects my kick drum and then some !
