They glide into the wood without any danger of splitting even very close to the edge or with narrow pieces such as plywood. They drive deep into the wood with ease if that's what you want and they're so neat and because of the small head it is very easy to conceal the hole with wood filler. They come with the correct bit to drive them in too. They are an absolute joy to work with and I would highly recommend them to anyone working with wood.
