Didn't work - bad motor
Ordered this gear motor with expedited shipping. It arrived quick and I immediately hooked it up to 24 vdc. Nothing happened, no current draw. Took off the encoder cover and hooked it up again, nothing. While powered, I turned the encoder wheel just slightly and then it began to move but very slowly. My guess is that this brand new unit has a bad spot in the commutator. Regardless, it's a junk unit and I'm out $153.
