Piranha Propeller Replacement Blade 14 x 13B

Piranha propellers are made of a FRP composite, and feature replaceable blades. I carry extra blades instead of a spare propeller in my offshore skiff - smaller and lighter. There is less impact on your lower unit gear train than with a stainless prop if you have a propeller strike. Performance is similar to an aluminum prop. Replaceable blades mean you can also change pitch without having to buy a new prop.Changing the blades is straightforward, but does require a wooden block or rubber mallet to accomplish - I can't remove the blades with hand pressure alone.
