Sturdy heavy gauge rebar stakes
I have a Suncast storage shed at the bottom of my driveway that the package carriers use when it rains so my packages don't get wet. I used four of these pounded through the bottom to secure it to the road, one in each corner. The eyelets catch on the flooring and hold the whole thing firmly in place. Maybe not conventional, but they worked perfectly and are sturdy enough to be pounded into rocky ground with a sledgehammer. I can't pull them out, which was the point.

Bent very Easy
These seem to be softer than rebar. They bent very easy

Steel. And brawn.
Made from steel. And brawn. Use hammer to pound into ground. Or big rock. Don't use beer bottle. Big smelly mess. Unless you hit cap on steel while in ground then delicious. But not too often, or big smelly mess.Sure, could get cheaper at big box store, but these come to my door and work to hold down my tarps over the snowblower.

Use these and your stuff won't be going anywhere until you want it to.
These bad boys went into sand (after a tropical storm in Mexico) and kept my tent from blowing away in the ocean wind. They seem to be built to last forever and I hope they do.

Worth it for the peace of mind alone.
We used these to anchor down our trampoline, since where we live has high winds. These have saved us already, and were well worth it.
