PLAYAPUP DOG BELLY BANDSPlayaPup belly bands offer two great benefits:1) Simply put on the belly band to house train dogs, especially great for puppies and newly adopted dogs. Works great for dogs who like to dribble and mark around the house. When the dog is wearing it, belly wrap trains male dogs not to pee in the house or when going out.2) Belly bands also provide temporary aid to dogs with incontinence problems, especially great for older male dogs.Belly wraps are not intended to absorb pee, but to inhibit peeing. For urine absorption, just add a panty liner or tissue. Unlike other cotton/denim belly bands, our dog belly bands can stretch and wrap around the dog's girth easily without harming the dog's coat. Fashionable belly bands come in print and solid fabrics. ABOUT PLAYAPUPPlayaPup designs innovative, fun, and colorful products for pets with protection always in mind. The diaper of shame
Hid his face, per his request. As you can see when he sits up its scrunched but he's not marking his territory while on his back. First 24 hrs this has worked. It's DRY. At first, thought he was just peeing because of seperation anxiety. We tried crate training but he has a full blown panic attacks in it. Got him some meds for the crate training debockle which made him seem like he ate a pan of pot brownies. Come to find out, this guy just likes the scent of his own urine all over his familys home.....so the diaper of shame will be worn at all times until he stops his facination with using his home as a toilet.

Favorite Belly Band
I foster dogs, and I take a lot of retired breeders, so most of them tend to be lifelong markers as they aren't neutered until a much later age, and they were never potty trained. I take small breed dogs, and these bands have worked GREAT and provided a great fit for my Chihuahuas, Pomeranians and Maltese that I have used them on. There's a size gap, and the medium was too big on a small frenchie, but the small was too small. I use the XS and S on the under 10# dogs. I use them with either poise pads or the target brand incontinence pads, and they fit perfectly, and don't have leaks. I only had one dog that was able to get it off by rolling around a lot, but it wasn't every time.

Love these but sizing is dodgey for dogs between sizes
I really like the quality of this wrap. The stretch fabric makes it very comfortable for dogs, unlike those non-stretch wraps with elastic on the edges which often pinch & irritate dogs' skin. However, with his 17" waist measurement, my dog lies squarely between the small & medium sizing guidelines. Barely enough fabric to secure the Small size around him & too tight when I do. The Medium size, while wider which provides better "coverage," doesn't have enough Velcro strip to securely affix the wrap. As a result, my little guy can shimmy the wrap too far up his body leaving his 'stuff' uncovered leading to, well, mishaps. Even putting a really thick napkin inside the wrap doesn't take up enough room to secure the wrap. NOTE TO THE MANUFACTURERS: PLEASE provide a longer strip of Velcro on the Medium size wrap to accommodate dogs on the cusp of your sizing guidelines. I'd buy several more of these wraps in Medium if u did!!

Not strictly a diaper
I've tried many of the "dog diaper" variety of product (5 or 6 at least) with varying success. Most do a more-or-less adequate job of catching the urine, although you use them with an incontinence pad (which affects the sizing) and the pad never catches the urine exactly which means you need several of the diapers and you spend quite a bit of time washing them. The paper diapers, besides being not-earth-friendly, are expensive! The PlayaPup belly bands are lycra/spandex and, although you can use them with a pad, they work by putting a little pressure over the dog's penis which somehow makes them less inclined to pee with it on. I don't know why it works, but I noticed that when I used the PlayaPup belly bands, when I took them off to take the dogs outside the belly band and pad I used with it were both dry.I have two male Bichons ages 8 & 10 and one of them never found a wall, table leg, plastic, refrigerator, front door or just about anything else that he did not consider worthy of his pee. The other just is happy to pee wherever he happens to be at the moment. Since using the PlayaPup, both have shown remarkable improvement - they seem to be beginning to learn (FINALLY) the difference between inside and outside bathrooms. You do need to measure your dogs carefully (although they will freely exchange if you get the wrong size). Each of my Bichons is a different size.

GENIUS PRODUCT!
My twelve year old Great Dane has just started to leak urine (its a nerve / muscle issue due to age) and of course, he's an old fella and likes to be on a soft couch rather than a dog bed...the pills often used to treat leakage are only successful some of the time and have many side effects so I was looking for a better solution...and I found it! He's a thin boy in his old age - the large size works for him. We line it with a heavy duty maxi pad and it has eliminated the problem. The band is very stretchy and stays in place well even when he's moving around. He wears one all day and all night and it stays snug and keeps things controlled. He is not bothered in the least by wearing it, there's been no skin irritation. Its perfect. I just take it off before he goes out (he doesn't have accidents in the house - he knows he has to go but when he is lying down, he has some leaking) and put it on him when he comes back in and NO MORE PEE PEE LEAKS in the house. I immediately bought more so I have back ups when I'm laundering. Great product.

Great product after a little modification
(I have to say, the customer service for this company is wonderful. My first order was lost and after 10 days I emailed them to check into it. They responded in about two hours and had a replacement product in the mail with expedited shipping by the end of that day. That does not happen all that often anymore!)I have purchased 3 of these now, one XXS and two XS. I wish there was an in-between size but it works as long as you make sure it is snugly around their belly. I originally purchased these because my dog was marking the house all the time and would not stop no matter how often we let him out. He was living with two larger dogs, one male and one female so that may have had something to do with it. Now that he is the only dog, he is marking almost never. So, now I use this product as a diaper for him if I can't get home in time to let him out. They make pads to go in these but I HIGHLY recommend getting some quality feminine pads instead. They are actually much cheaper and they perform much better. I bought heavier ones with a dry-weave lining that keeps any wetness away from his skin. Dogs tend to have very little hair there so they might be prone to diaper rash like symptoms. And now if he does "have an accident" it goes into the pad and not the furniture or carpet!I wash them in a lingerie bag about once a week and so far, they are holding up very well! He still does not like to wear it but he will stand up and allow me to put it on him without a fuss. Then he is his normal playful self even with it on! Really great product!

Klappt schon ganz gut!

Hält dicht mit Hilfsmittel
Passt unserem Hund gut.

Alles Super !
