This would be perfect IF it could be used with the protective case/cover (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MQNLVE8/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1) that I purchased as well. To protect my Macbook I need to keep the case. So, I'll have to return this hub and find one that has an extension, one that works synonymously with the laptop's cover.
