Platinum Pets Double Diner Feeder with Stainless Steel Cat Bowls, 6 oz, Purple

I purchased these at the end of November 2017 (along with another color of the same bowl) for my cats. Imagine my dismay this morning when I was washing the bowls and noticed that the finish was peeling. I am now worried about where the finish will end up - not in my cat, I hope! I love the look and design of these bowls, but the finish wearing off is of great concern to me!UPDATE (4/2018) - I contacted the company; they said they had a one year guarantee, but they have not refunded me or replaced the bowls. I think there's a quality control issue with some of the colors. These and the red ones have peeled; others have not.

I received the Platinum Pets Modern Double Diner Cat Stand in black damaged but will leave a fair review because Amazon Customer Service always goes above and beyond to replace or refund for any items damaged in transit which is a plus.I purchased this diner cat stand for our 6 month old kitten who was sliding and flipping his stainless steel bowls all over the place. The stand and bowls are small but good for kittens, young cats and small dogs (but you will need to fill it as needed throughout the day because the bowls are very small and might not hold a whole day's worth of food and/ or water).It stands under 4" tall, is about 10.5" long and 4" wide. The bowls are wide rim bowls, and are about 5" across. The total weight of the double diner stand with the bowls in it is about a pound (empty, without food and/ or water in the bowls). There are two bowls that (if not damaged as mine were) fit snugly side by side in the stand and will not slide out of the stand or knock over easily (unless the entire stand is knocked over).Overall the Platinum Pets Modern Double Diner Cat Stand is a good way to keep your cat's food and water in place especially if they like to play with their food and water bowls as mine does! Fortunately my little guy has not been adventurous enough to flip the whole stand over (yet, and yes, I am expecting that in time he will lol). The stand is finished with a matte black powdercoat. The bowls are embossed with paws. They are dishwasher-safe and are said to be guaranteed to not rust. With a lifetime guarantee its worth giving a try. If at some point the stand and/ or bowls do not live up to your expectations or become defective, they can be replaced at no cost to you, so its worth giving a try at the low cost of $12.00!

Looks amazing. I orginally wanted to get black (classic) but they were out of stock so I got gold instead. Im soo glad I did! It looks really beautiful and classy and the color matches with everything. I do wonder why it says 24K gold instead of just gold. Common sense tells me its not real gold so Im not sure why they didnt just write gold; I feel like that would be more accurate. Either way the color is gorgeous and its just the right size for my 5 pound dog. Now she doesnt spill water everywhere and my floors are very pleased. The only thing is I wish they would tell us what grade stainless steel they use. I do like that it is made in the USA.

I bought two of these as "Christmas gifts;" one for my cat and one for my sister's cat.My cat Minnie had a really bad habit of after she would do her business in her litterbox, she would run to her food dish and try to buy her food. (Yes, I know, my cat has "issues" lol). She would knock over either her food or water dish nearly every day doing this. This cat food stand was the perfect solution for both me and for Minnie. She likes eating and drinking out of the metal dishes that are off the floor, and they're easy for me to fill as well. No more dumped cat food bowls. This is why I rated this five stars.With my sister's cat Oreo however, it's a bit different. Oreo is big and fat (27 pounds) and he eats and drinks a LOT. My sister complains that the bowls are too small for his food and water. My response of course, was that she needs to give his fat arse less food anyway. But in all seriousness, she is using these bowls in the stand and just has to fill them with food and water more frequently than before. Which I am happy about, because Oreo is no longer getting food dumped into a huge bowl, sitting there getting stale until he eats it all.For Minnie, the dishes are a perfect size; I refill the food once a day and refresh the water a couple of times a day.This whole unit, both the stand and the bowls, are super easy to clean by the way.

I have mixed feelings about this product. I wanted a higher feeder for my older cats who were having digestive issues. It seems to be helping with that, which is wonderful! However the bowls are VERY small so if you have more than one cat you will be refilling quite often. also, the flat rim on the outside of the bowl seems to cause a lot more spilllage than I would have expected. I find quite a lot of the food spilled onto the floor and I am not filling it past the top of the bowl. I did not have this problem with my old bowls without the lip. I think I am going to try and find a way to make a raised feeder that will accomodate my old 5" ceramic bowls.

Love the color!! These bowls are super durable and even when I use a sponge to clean them they do not scratch at all! Very good quality bowls and the stand is very sturdy. Great for my two kitties! These are good if you feed them twice a day like I do. If you only like to feed them once I'd get a bigger bowl. These fit our canned foods like a charm though!

This cat food dish is great. Each critter has her own bowl but sometimes those cats don't mind trying out someone else's food

This feeder is perfect. The serving size is exactly right for cats. I feed my cats outdoors and I needed to find a solution that make it difficult for bugs to get into the dish especially slugs. To that end I also purchased copper slug tape and wrapped it around all the exposed legs. It completely solved that problem. It also somehow stands up to the various and frequent raccoons that roam the neighborhood. Because it has rubber feet, it doesn't get knocked over easily and because the bowls themselves are rubberized around the lip, the stand stays upright and has yet to be knocked over by raccoons. Excellent product.
