Keeps the heat in!
Fits perfect on my precision 6262 t4's. I drove for 2 hours with these on and coild open the hood and touch them and not get burned. The springs that come with them do not seem to be the right size but thats my only issue with them. Solid material and function.

BAD REVIEWS ARE FALSE
Purchased this turbo blanket to find out the real scoop, because the reviews were so conflicting. Just as I thought, negative reviews do not picture this product correctly. To start with, I am not a self proclaimed mechanic, but a highly skilled and trained professional that work on some of the most expensive trucks, hot rods, and boats in my area, and I have been doing this for 38 years. I installed this turbo blanket on a 2004 2500HD GMC Sierra, after a full upgrade of the exhaust and intake system. This truck is producing North of 700 horsepower, 1,200 foot pounds of torque, and reaches 1,400 degrees EGTs during hard acceleration on hot days. You can touch the turbo blanket with your bare hands right after a hard pull without getting burned. This turbo blanket has been on this truck for over 1,000 miles now, with no sign of failure. One of the reviews I read stated the reason why some people claim failure is because they remove the blanket after it was exposed to the extreme heat of the turbine. This is absolutely correct, but a high end turbo blanket might tolerate early removal better. All turbo blankets will eventually fall apart upon removal. The other thing that will destroy a new turbo blanket is an exhaust leak on the turbine flange.

Excellent Fit
Ordered a T4 size for my dual v-band 6262. Perfect snug fitment. Material looks similar to some of the costly ones I’ve had in the past. Car is not running just yet so I cannot speak on heat endurance, but I feel it will be strong. Great but overall.

Great for the money!
If you’re expecting some high-dollar, heat insulating blanket that makes miracles happen…. You’re not getting that at this price point. I bought it to cover up cosmetic damage on the hot side of my used turbo. It fits and looks as good or better than expected. I am satisfied.

Fits a BorgWarner EFR 8374
I bought the T4 Version of this blanket to replace the $250 PTP Blanket that came apart after a few months of use and never fit snug. This universal blanket fits my BorgWarner EFR 8374 T4 Turbo that I have my for 2015 Ford Ecoboost Mustang. Snug fit for a fraction of what I paid for the previous blanket, and so far has been holding up great. A+ Quality, would definitely purchase again if I needed a replacement.

junk
with all these positive reviews there must of been a product/quality change... this is my 3rd turbo blanket (all china amazon) and i can assure u that this one i got is junk. cant even think about putting your hand on this blanket when the turbo is hot..and it wont stop smoking which is another tall tale sign of being cheap/inferior

Works Well
This has a inner lining that hopefully won't stick to the turbine. Stitching is more durable than last one I bought at twice the price.Edit: Liner does not stick but still comes apart. You can install it about two or three times before it's worthless.
