Cleanbear Extra Soft Wash Cloths Washcloths Set 6-Pack 13 x 13 Inches, Highly Absorbent Facecloths (Dark Gray)

When we first got these, we were thrilled. They were soft, thick, and the colors were beautiful. We loved them so much we ordered a second set. But after a few months of use they’ve become so rough they’re not even functional anymore. The fibers have melted and matted down like plastic, the edges are curling, and we’ve thrown out over half of the original set. We’ve even tried washing them separate in hopes of prolonging their life and it hasn’t been any use. These are cheaply made and don’t last. You’ll get better value from getting even the cheapest bundle at Target.

Great washcloths. I wanted ones not too thick that they hold too much water and not too thin that they don't hold enough. That's kind of difficult to explain but the material is just right. The only thing is I wish they didn't actually have the fancy pattern band. I don't need them to be fancy and since that part of the cloth is different it's just not needed in my opinion. I'm not going to remove a star for it though. They've been through a couple washes now and look pretty new still. Material seems to be holding up very well.

I hate to pay the same price for a wash cloth as I do for a hand towel. I know textile companies make their money off the smaller items that make a set. These cloths are such a great buy, this is my second purchase and it wont be my last. Thick, good size, just overall great product and at a reasonable price.

Update TWO years later:Still perfect! Never frayed. Never faded (that I can tell). Been washed about 100 times now. Hot water cycle. Still looks and works as they did the day I bought them nearly 2 years ago.Update a year later:Still great! Just as good as when we bought them. We use them to wash the kids in the tub, and I also use to wash and dry my face. We use each one time before washing so these have been washed probably 50 times over the last year and still look good. No lint issues like others had. Highly recommend.Original review: These are a great size. They wash up well (although I just purchased them, so cannot vouch for long term). I LOVE the little sewn-on loops so I can hang from a hook in my shower to dry. I also like how they are thin and dry quickly as my old washcloths were too thick and took a long time to dry. I also like the flower-like stitching pattern across the band. The only thing I don’t care for is that these are sold in multi-packs with 6 different colors. I prefer a clean and consistent look to my linens and like them all to match. I also think the color palettes are a bit outdated. I got the “deep” color palette which is exactly as shown, but I wouldn’t call those colors deep. Deep—to me—are jewel tones, rich and pigmented. I wish you could pick just one color and get six of those. Gray would be nice, as would white. I still might order some more though since I like the other aspects of these.

And, unfortunately, the lint pills stick tenaciously to the washcloths. No amount of washing or trips through the drier will dislodge the clumps. I'm 60 and have never experienced anything like this. The lint is impervious to the lint roller and even tape (I went over and over with strips of tape, pressing down hard, and still the pills wouldn't lift). What is this product made of, for god's sake? I can't explain the number of stars other reviewers have assigned to this complete waste of money, except perhaps they haven't put these pieces of crap in the washer yet. These are going straight to the rag box now.

I absolutely love this brand of washcloths. I also have their hand towels. They are very well made, soft, somewhat large, and wash and dry nicely. I use these for my vacation rental so they get washed a great deal in very hot water with Oxyclean. They come out looking wonderful. When I need new bath towels, I know what manufacturer I am going with.

I haven’t tried them yet but these seem like good quality. They’re pretty big, bigger than I’m used to.

while these may be 100% cotton, they do not have the qualities of other, thicker cotton washcloths that I own.They are soft but do not absorb as readily as I would like and when they come out of washer, they feel dry.Seems to be that there must be some polyester and/or microfiber in them. I would not purchase again,but for now they'll do.

The quality of the flannels are excellent, the colour and thickness also excellent.The only problem the took ages to arrive.
