Saves Time and Fuel!
When I began selling on eBay some of the many toy train items I've collected over the years, I found myself driving ten miles to and from the Post Office almost every day. Then I learned that I could mail packages from my home using the USPS Web site Click-N-Ship feature, getting a discount on postage cost, free delivery confirmation, and a big savings on gasoline by not having to drive across town every time I had a box to be mailed. All I needed was a scale to weigh my outgoing boxes. The PS-100 10 lb. Desk Top Postal Scale met this need perfectly. It's accurate and extremely simple to use. The "Hold" feature is particularly convenient if one is weighing a large box that blocks sight of the read-out window. Press "Hold" and the weight remains displayed even after removing the package. I was also surprised at how small and light weight the scale is. It's perfect for a kitchen counter or desk top and can be easily picked up and moved with one hand. It's really proving to be a great time and money-saver, and, of course, it can be used to weigh other things that require accurate measurement in grams, ounces, or pounds-and-ounces. Each of these units of weight can be easily and quickly selected for display. It occurs to me that cooks may find it useful for measuring ingredients by weight (although my wife and I have yet to fight over who gets to use it first!)Just remember that the scale does have a ten-pound weight limit. It is designed for light-weight, in-home use, so I suspect that it might not be appropriate for a business selling heavier items. Other than that single caution, I find no shortcomings whatsoever in the scale and am entirely pleased with it.

A Perfect Kit With Nearly Clear Tight Grain
The kit arrived beautifully packed. A genius packaging designer has to have been behind the arrangement of the wood in the box and the simplicity of the packaging material. The wood is packed almost in perfect sequence to allow you to follow the directions. My kit has essentially clear, straight-grained wood. Two pieces had the extreme outer edges of two knots visible, but easy to hide. No dings from shipping. The only "error" the directions contained was that the company chose to make the Phillips-head screws all the same length instead of two different lengths - not a problem. You will need an appropriately sized screw driver or electric screw driver to fully drive these wood screws home in their pockets. Yes, the hex key furnished to drive the other screws and bolts is a little small to get the leverage I would have liked, but it was OK. Naturally, the last screw was very difficult even though it was the same as many others. Working at a relaxed pace with several interruptions, the table might have taken an hour to put together, once I found my electric driver for the Phillips-head wood screws. I think the bed and drawers will be more challenging. {;*)) The two boxes containing the bed are VERY heavy. The resulting night table is beautiful in its simplicity and can be finished any way you like as the wood should take it well. What would I improve? Well, I'd like a night table with a drawer. That would likely be more expensive, especially if it had good guides, but doable. Certainly a "best buy."

Doesn't work
Bought it for my daughter's trans-Atlantic flight and it never worked. She could listen but not charge. Right out of the package, it was a dud.

Use it to ship from home & in the kitchen
I'm definitely getting my money's worth out of this scale. It took me a while to decide it was worth investing in, but I've already used it to save money on shipping by using USPS's click-n-ship feature printing out shipping labels after weighing packages at home (rate is cheaper with free delivery confirmation) and by avoiding overpaying for letter postage (additional postage needed for anything over 1 oz.) by simply checking with this scale - previously I would just guess and add on another stamp when I probably didn't need to but felt it would be better to be safe. I've also used it in the kitchen for cooking by weight which saves on having to wash extra measuring cups. The tare, hold, and different weight options (lb/oz for shipping, gm for cooking) have all worked flawlessly. I'm very happy with the functions and accuracy. The only thing I have to remind myself of is not to immerse it in water when washing flour off of the scale when baking, etc. I've had no problems having it wipe clean with a damp towel. I really love that it works cordlessly with batteries, but you have the power cord provided in case you want to use it that way too. This is a great simple scale - get this instead of separate scales for shipping and for cooking!

Junk
So - the charge port: fine. The headphone port: nothing. Try and plug headphones in to the headphone port while it’s charging - charging stops.Seems most of these reviews are for something else, but whatever - it’s junk.
